Terms and Conditions of Sale (February 2006)
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DETAILS CAREFULLY.
You are responsible for ensuring that our terms
of payment and conditions of acceptance detailed herein are complied
with.
1. Confirmed Booking - Exclusive Event
The agreed deposit and signed Confirmation,
(if not already returned), must be received by us within 7 days of
the date of Confirmation otherwise the date will be released. To
ensure that your event remains EXCLUSIVE to you, the full payment,
based on the minimum billing as detailed on your Confirmation, must
reach us at least 28 calendar days prior to the event date. Unless
otherwise agreed, where payment is not received within this time,
G P Karting reserve the right to open the event to other drivers
or cancel the event without refund of any deposits paid.
2. Confirmed Booking – Non Exclusive Event
The agreed deposit and signed Confirmation,
(if not already received), must be received by us within 7 days of
the date of Confirmation. Where deposit payments are not received
within this time, G P Karting reserve the right to resell the entries
or cancel the event without notice. Balance payments as detailed
on your Confirmation must be paid 10 working days prior to your event.
3. Cancellation – all bookings and events
Should you cancel your event within 28 days of
the date of the event, full payment, based on the minimum numbers
detailed in your Confirmation of Event becomes due.
4. Payments
Deposit payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Your deposit may be paid by cash or cheque made payable to G.P.Karting
Limited. Alternatively a telephone payment by most major credit
cards will be welcome. We regret that we are unable to accept credit
card payment by American Express or Diners Club.
The final payment for your event may be paid
by cash or cheque made payable to G.P.Karting Limited. Alternatively
a telephone payment by most major credit cards will be welcome.

Express or Diners Club.
Due to the ever-increasing costs of Bank charges,
we regret that we will now be applying a surcharge to all Credit
Card transactions. A flat charge of £1.00 will be added to
all sales of £50.00 or less. A charge of 3% will be added
to all transactions above £50.00. Payment by Debit Cards
or Cheques will not incur any surcharge.
5. Authority
If I am signing on behalf of a company or
organisation, I confirm that I am duly empowered to do so.
6. General
The minimum billing as detailed will be due even
if fewer drivers turn up, take part or retire for whatever reason.
Unless agreed prior to the event, it is not permitted for clients
to bring their own food or drink onto the premises.
For the enjoyment and safety of all drivers, you are advised of
the following extracts from our “Rules of the Circuit”.
If you have any doubts about the following, please contact us directly
for further information.
The Management or Race Director may refuse permission
for any driver to compete on the grounds of safety to others and
themselves without refund of any money paid. Please make all drivers
in your group fully aware of the following extracts from our “Rules
of the Circuit”
1. The physical design and size of karts operated
by G P Karting may be a limiting factor for certain drivers. Generally,
drivers should be taller than 5’-2” (1.60m) but not
exceed 6’-4” (2.00 m) in height and / or 17 stone (105
kg) in weight.
Drivers outside of these limits may not be permitted to drive and
no refunds will be given.
2. Drivers must wear laced flat-soled shoes.
High heels, open toe, slip on, platform soles and work boots are
not permitted.
3. Alcohol must not, under any circumstances,
be consumed before or during the event.
4. Persons believed to be under the influence
of drink or drugs will not be permitted to drive.
5. Drivers must be a minimum of 18 years of age
to race in competition. Younger drivers may compete but may be
required to satisfy the Management or Race Director of G P Karting
as to their ability prior to racing.
6. The Management reserves the right to refuse
entry to any person or ask any person to leave the premises for
whatever reason without refund of any money paid.
7. LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO DRIVE.
